Flower Gap Farm & Creamery is a Nigerian Dwarf Goat farm located in the Champlain Valley of Vermont that specializes in small batch yogurts and fresh cheeses.

Nigerian Dwarf goats are small, but mighty! While they produce less milk than a standard dairy goat, their milk is rich in protein and butterfat and has the most amazingly mild and sweet flavor. The milk is processed on farm into thick and creamy yogurt and decadent fresh cheeses. The products are all packaged in glass in effort to reduce the amount of plastic entering landfills. We hope to one day be able to sanitize and reuse the glass but are not set up for that just yet. We encourage customers to repurpose the jars, as they are so cute for so many things around the house!

This land has been in agriculture since the 1790s. So much heart was put into this land over the years, I just love to think of the number of boots that walked across this soil over the years and all of the animals this land has nourished. I feel so fortunate to be carrying on the tradition of caring for the land through responsible agriculture. The current dairy barn was constructed in the 1960s as a 150 tie-stall barn. After the last milk truck pulled out of the drive, the barn was used for homesteading livestock and storage. Flower Gap Farm began renovating the barn in 2024 and became a licensed grade A dairy in spring of 2025.
